Ah, Winter in Central Queensland! The grass is browning off, the bush is dusty, quiet and waiting patiently for rain to come; hopefully soon.
The caravan parks are full of southerners fleeing the freezing temps back home and the beaches are, well, not exactly packed, but nice enough for a quick midday swim, or a long walk.
