The Rhythm of Life

‘Are you here for the 70’s Party?’ we were asked at the door. To which I replied, ‘There’s a what party?’

Folks, Doll and I spent as few days at Rainbow Beach with some wonderful people and partied like it was 1969:

Then watched the sun come up and go down, the tide come in and go out while Doll fed the local fish a bag of prawns:

Spent the evenings gazing up at a moonless sky and enjoyed the spectacle of the Milky Way speckled with countless satellites, and didn’t take a photo because, well, I couldn’t be arsed taking any and, occasionally everyone needs some time off from this:

We enjoyed some of this:

Then back to this at Tin Can Bay (yeah, I should have been fishing, but wrote a song instead):

The soldier crabs gave my guitar playing ‘Two Claws Up’:

Found a model of the old Cherry Venture which washed up in the vicinity back in the 70’s:

Meanwhile, back in Gladdy Town:

And, my grandchildren were delighted to have their cricket ball returned by a passing boatie so they could continue the Father’s Day Test Match:

Yeah, life is pretty good…

Cheers,

Gb
